My pallid reflection shunned me. Bruised eyes and fractured vision were the first symptoms. The stagger into the bathroom was a clear sign that something was wrong.

Then I noticed the unexplainable red mark on the ball of my palm. What's going on??

I worked the chronic pain in my neck as I returned to the computer to blow away more animated monsters. Is it a tumour? I felt tired and lacking in energy. Maybe it's the big C .... my thoughts were becoming scatty.

Coffee dragged me through another level of Quake.

...f&*%!! - 3am...
