We are beseeched to enjoin in the non-pedantic rush to the Big Clock tickover into triple zero reality. The collective mind washing is in earnest, and soon the liquids of Champagne will soften the most resistant of our sensibilities into the consumer ready mode that will be demanded of us in the fragmented stupidity ahead.

More hype, more madness, more what? Boredom by definition.

Y2K disasters (I'm glad to hear the Y2K movie is proving a flop) await us in this neo-post-modernist bullshit. The overflowing optimism will drown us while the demands of modern society maintain a firm grip on our curly ones.

Ofcourse my suggestion that we should simply accept our failures and reset the calendar to 1969 (series B) were met uniform derision by my closest of friends.

Instead we have to accept the promises of a new beginning.

The old past is kept and discarded to the unconscious - best forgotten.

The present is turned into a continuous stream of instant regret.

There is only the future. There is only boredom.
